The Schrapel family planted their vineyards in 1852 at Barossa’s first settlement, and the business is now in the hands of fifth and sixth generation winemakers.
Pale tawny in colour with an olive hue. Aromas of caramel and raisin, sweet, rich and concentrated flavours of honeyed fruit made more complex by fresh rancio notes. Despite its concentration, the wine remains elegant with nutty persistence.
