The grapes for this traditional fortified were hand picked, pressed gently by foot, wild fermented until fortification and aged in a single old oak puncheon for 15 months.
Deep dark red in the glass with aromas of florals over dried fruit and wood smoke. A full-bodied expression with flavours of rum, raisin and plum pudding-like richness, with hints of caramel, cinnamon and liquorice before a warm, velvety finish.
