The McKay family were one of Margaret River’s modern day pioneers, planting vineyards in the 1980s.
In the glass: Medium density red.
On the nose: Black plum, cedar and bay leaf.
On the palate: Shows mulberry Merlot fruit sweetness balanced by fine, spicy tannins with white pepper and bay leaf complexity and a earthy, savoury finish. An easy-drinking blend with good potential.
