In the winery: The component wines were blended on following malolactic fermentation and then aged in French oak for 15 months.
In the glass: Full red black.
On the nose: Dense and intense currant, plum, cassis, iodine and cedary oak.
On the palate: Full-bodied with dark cherry fruit, rich, deep tannins, quality charry vanillin oak, cassis and liquorice-like persistence.
