Tuscan-born Lorenzo Galli discovered that the rich red volcanic soils and cool climate of Sunbury were ideal for producing elegant wines of intense character, like Shiraz.
In the glass: Deep dark red to purple.
On the nose: Lifted dark cherry, white pepper, earth, cedar, background eucalypt.
On the palate: Full-bodied black fruit core, touches of beetroot and pepper, and firm,
ripe tannins with a charry coconut oak finish.
