Helen & Joey Layla Pinot Noir 2017

Layla is an ancient Middle Eastern name meaning ‘dark beauty’, relating to the ‘ecstasy of the wine’, that feeling that comes over your body when drinking a beautiful drop.
 
In the glass: Vibrant medium red.
On the nose: Strawberry, forest floor and earth aromas.
On the palate: A spot-on Pinot! Lovely and textural in a medium weight frame with loads of bright red fruits and velvety tannins. Delicate yet rich with an incredibly long and persistent finish. Really opens up in the glass with more and more complexity and interest. A fabulous Pinot from start to finish.
