Andrew Margan, whose Environmental Science education has given him great knowledge of soil, weather and growing conditions, was one of the first to plant Barbera in the Hunter.
In the glass: Medium to deep red purple.
On the nose: Red black cherry cola with riverstone savoury aromatic complexity.
On the palate: Excellent bright fruit expression – tight and energetic, it shows lovely spice and structure, true to the variety. An excellent food wine.
