McWilliam's Johansen Vineyard Chardonnay 2015

This single vineyard wine shows the distinctive features of the high altitude Johansen Vineyard that is located in the cool climate Tumbarumba region.
 
In the glass: Pale straw yellow.
On the nose: Pristine grapefruit, green apple and white nectarine with complex notes of fennel.
On the palate: Shows white peach, pears and nuts with a backbone of citrus and refined texture leading to a long refreshing finish. A wine of both purity and power with intense length and flavour that has plenty of cellaring potential.
