Verdejo is named after the green (verde) colour of the berries. It is the premier grape of Spain’s Rueda region, and thrives in warm, dry climates like the Barossa.
Bright straw, green in colour with aromas of white tropical fruits with melon, guava and a background of fennel and anise. On the palate, this expression shows a mix of juicy and jubey fruits throughout with slightly chalky drive on the finish.
