Barbera is one of the three main red varieties from Piedmont in Italy. It is known for its medium bodied nature, black fruit flavours and a high acidity that makes it appear juicy.
In the glass: Deep ruby red.
On the nose: Cherry, red petal and wild herb.
On the palate: Medium bodied with delicious notes of alpine strawberry, cherry, red liquorice and warm black olives. Juicy in texture with lovely soft tannins.
