In the winery: Once the ferment was about 50% through, the wine was transferred to French oak barriques (20% new) to complete fermentation and maturation.
In the glass: Vibrant mid yellow.
On the nose: Struck match and sea spray.
On the palate: Rich, mealy and concentrated with terrific minerality and persistence. Showing ripe stonefruit, pineapple, honeydew and ginger, subtle nougat and vanillin oak. Mouth-watering with spicy acidity and complex flavour length.
