Wicks Estate Vintage Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2018

Wicks Estate added a Sparkling wine to their portfolio in 2017 and it has been going absolutely gang-busters. This 2018 vintage shows exactly why Adelaide Hills has such an amazing reputation.
 
In the glass: Bright pale gold.
On the nose: Sweet yellow fruit lift with floral and talc notes.
On the palate: Tight lemony fruit entry with a creamy mousse, green apple notes and grapefruit acidity. Youthful with excellent potential to fill out and gain complexity.
