Mataro has not always enjoyed the limelight it deserves, being blended with Grenache. But nowadays, we’re seeing more winemakers like Woods Crampton putting it front and centre.
Deep, dark red. Fragrant mix of plum, dark cherry, tobacco and vanillin oak. A powerful wine yet retains some elegance with a deep mix of black and purple fruit, sweet and savoury spice and vanillin oak in good balance with the rich core of fruit.
