We recently celebrated turning 40 and we'd like to take this opportunity to thank all our valued customers for their support. Whether you've been with us for 40 years, a few years or you've just joined, you're an important part of the Wine Selectors story.

“Last year a friend convinced me to attend the Good Food and Wine Show in Perth. At that time I could hardly be referred to as a connoisseur, more a philistine really. My friend and I stumbled (literally) into the Wine Selectors stand. A very affable young gent offered us a taste and a spiel about the merits of Wine Selectors.
Unlike many decisions made under the influence of the crimson nectar, the decision to sign up with the Regional Series has proved one of my better ones, sober or otherwise.
Each quarter I receive my regional selection which enables me to sample wines from a different region in Australia. I am educated about the area and my senses are tuned to the regional nuances and variations of each selection. I used to think that wine was just wine, but Wine Selectors has opened my eyes and tastebuds to this ever-changing world.
Even though this journey has a long way to go, I can now tell a Merlot from a Cabernet, a Margaret River from a Coonawarra and thanks to the quality of the wines delivered by the experts, I often out-class my cultured friends with the fantastic drop I open to share with a meal. “I am not a wine aficionado, nor would I describe myself as overly knowledgeable about wines. But I know what I like. I have been a member of, firstly, the Hunter Valley Wine Society, and now Wine Selectors, since 1979 or 1980. I think this makes me one of the longest serving members and I can say without hesitation that I have never had a bottle of wine that I have not enjoyed..
Having a team of experts select a dozen bottles of wine for you every three months is a luxury well worth the membership. We have often had friends and family compliment us on our wines at dinners and I can say, with a feeling of guilty pleasure, that I have accepted these with pride. The wines also represent excellent value. At times when I have paid a fairly hefty price in a wine store for what was supposed to be a premium wine, I have been disappointed when comparing it to what I get through Wine Selectors. For anyone who would like to drink good value wine and have confidence that what you are drinking is a quality drop, then membership of Wine Selectors is a great benefit. "Last year my husband and I moved from Melbourne to our little farm in Central Victoria and because of our new remote location, I regrettably decided to ring Wine Selectors to cancel our regular delivery of reds as I had assumed that we wouldn’t be able to get a delivery. But I was delighted when I was assured that it was no trouble at all! We now collect our delivery from the nearest post office along with the mail. How civilised is that? Not only are we still enjoying our “reds” but our wine collection still growing and the recipes and travel in Selector Magazine are looked forward to almost much as the wine! Thank you."

"The recipe for the October 2014 calendar is Washed Rind Cheese Custard. They were very rich little treats as we were lucky to find some Nimbin washed rind cheese at our local grocer. The sweet sourness of the rhubarb tamed this dish. Washed down with a superb Canberra Crush House Chardonnay that I accidentally ordered. I had a bit of amateurish trouble with the praline but would certainly make this again."

"Every month, a group of friends get together and cook the recipe from this months calendar, drink the monthly wine and finish off with a deadly game of Scrabble.
