Made from adjoining blocks of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro at Gomersal in the Barossa, this wine has been a magnet for wine show medals both here in Australia and internationally.
In the glass: Medium density red.
On the nose: Red berry, plum and cedar spice.
On the palate: Medium to full-bodied with a dark fruit core, youthful, firm tannins and terrific acidity. Lovely now, but will soften further in the short to medium term.
