The Tumblong Hills vineyard site was chosen for its ironstone-rich volcanic soils, plus the warm days and cool nights during ripening.
In the glass: Full, dark red.
On the nose: Ripe dark berry, spice, charcuterie and cedar oak perfume.
On the palate: Seamless, plush and elegant with a tightly-wound core of dark cherry and plum fruit, and deep but firm tannins. So refined with an almost Euro-like structure.
