Orange is one of Australia’s only GIs demarcated by altitude. All grapes must be grown 600m or more above sea level, making it ideal for ripening Cabernet.
In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Sweet dark cherry and plum.
On the palate: Cassis and mulberry depth and intensity with ripe leafy varietal freshness, notes of wood smoke and eucalypt, tight-knit anise-like tannins and crisp acidity.
