Nero is an important red in its native Sicily, and is quickly finding acceptance here in Australia for its depth of colour, aromatics and juicy yet savoury appeal.
Inky dark red purple. Blackberry, blueberry, liquorice and Italian bitters on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, with a concentrated core of blue and purple fruit, good tannin grip, hints of spice and herbs, and a lovely long, savoury finish.
