Chenin Blanc is not widely grown in Australia, but does very well in the south-west corner of the country, making a very fruit-driven style with good textural qualities. This lovely expression by one of our favourite producers from the region is a great example.
In the glass: Pale lemon straw.
On the nose: Pineapple, lemon and apple.
On the palate: An expressive core of white and yellow fruit, subtle textural elements and leesy complexity, lively acid drive and persistence.
