Tournon Shays Flat Vineyard Sangiovese 2016

In 2009, Michel Chapoutier of the famous Rhône Valley producer bought the Shays Flat vineyard. The cool weather and unique soil are ideal for the development of his biodynamic wine-growing philosophy.
 
In the glass: Medium to deep garnet.
On the nose: Bright red olive and red cherry with smoked meats, fennel and white pepper.
On the palate: Medium weight flavours with strawberry, cherry and olive delivering satiny textures throughout over fine, sandy tannins.
