Unlike many other regions in Australia, the 2011 vintage was a cracker in Margaret River and this Cabernet reaped the benefits, winning Gold medals at the 2013 Royal Melbourne Wine Show and 2014 Mundus Vini International Wine Show.
In the glass: Full deep brick.
On the nose: Intense varietal perfume of blueberry, blackcurrant, leather and cedar.
On the palate: A distinguished aged red with an acid and tannin foundation that's still fresh driving the beautifully integrated core of dark fruit and quality oak through to the elegant finish. Gorgeous now, but will contiinue to develop secondary characters with more time in the cellar.
