Catherine Vale Wines has been producing wines under the Catherine Vale label since its first vintage in 1997. Initially, only Semillon and Chardonnay grapes were used however, following in 1998, Verdelho grapes were grafted as were Dolcetto and Barbera.
In 2002, 850 Semillon vines were grafted to Verdelho and in 2008 Arneis was grafted onto existing Chardonnay. We also produce Madeira from the first Verdelho vines grafted in 1998.
