Evans & Tate is very excited to launch the new vintage Redbrook wines – the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2011 Shiraz and 2012 Chardonnay. The flagship Redbrook range offers benchmark expressions of Margaret River winemaking and are made from fruit grown on unique, established vineyards in the Margaret River winegrowing region. The range has been recognised for excellence at wine shows in Australia and across the world. At the 2013 Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia, the 2011 Redbrook Shiraz was awarded Trophies for Best Wine of Show, Best Red Wine and Best Shiraz. At the same show the 2010 Redbrook Chardonnay received Best White Wine and Best Chardonnay.
Evans & Tate senior winemaker Matthew Byrne says the excitement about the release of the new vintage has been building since the exceptional 2011 and 2012 harvests. “The range does represent the best of what we can offer and they’re wines I’m extremely proud of. These are benchmark Margaret River wines, sourced from our very best vineyards and crafted with the intention of them being at the very pinnacle of what this region is renowned for,” Matthew said.
