Henschke is a family-owned, 153-year-old Australian winery, located in Keyneton, South Australia in the Eden Valley wine region. A proud member of Australia's First Families of Wine, The Henschke family has been making exceptional wine since Johann Christian Henschke planted a small vineyard at Keyneton in 1862.
Henschke Wines
While Henschke wines are most famous for their Hill of Grace and Mount Edelstone Shiraz wines from Eden Valley, their Barossa vineyards also produce exceptional reds like Henry’s Seven, among others.
Fifth-generation winemaker, Stephen Henschke, and his viticulturist wife Prue, continue to craft exquisite white wines with a focus on purity, while their red wines have a strong focus on terroir, using traditional winemaking techniques. Along with the next generation of Henschke family members, collectively they passionately uphold the family name and reputation.
Henschke Cellar Door
Housed in the original 1860s Grain Barn on the Henschke property in Keyneton, the architecturally designed tasting room is a space with great attention to detail and of course warm Henschke hospitality. The Henschke cellar door has a mix of heritage and contemporary tastings that respect the past and embrace the future.
Visitors can also book private tastings and tours of Hill of Grace, their most renowned Henschke vineyard, or the Henschke Mount Edelstone vineyard which built Henschke’s international reputation for fine, single-vineyard wines.
