Located in the Hunter Valley, the oldest winemaking region in Australia, Travertine Wines was originally planted as Pendarves Estate in the early 1990s. Along with the traditional Hunter favourites, Travertine produces an exciting range of exotic grapes made as exceptional wines including Chambourcin, Pinot Noir and Tannat. The wines have a distinctive flavour that showcase strong Hunter Valley characteristics and reflect the limestone dome on which the vineyard sits atop.
Tell us about your cellar door
We’ve recently completed our lovely new cellar door that offers panoramic views of the Old North Road towards Brokenback, taking in the hillside vineyard blocks. It's much bigger than our previous cellar door, and provides a wonderful tasting experience for our valued customers.
