Established in 1967, Vasse Felix was the first wine estate in Margaret River. Enjoying the Mediterranean climate and maritime influence, the vineyard features ancient gravel-loam soils, perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Not just home to world-class wines, Vasse Felix is also one of Margaret River’s most popular wineries to visit.
What style of wines can you expect from Margaret River?
Combining fruit power with elegance and balance, Margaret River wines are a result of wet winters and long, even ripening periods. This means the grapes reach optimum ripeness and their varietal characters shine. Most suited to Margaret River are Chardonnay and Cabernet, along with Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blends and Shiraz.
