This wine perfectly showcases the qualities of Hunter Shiraz. Although medium-bodied, it has the power and flavour length that can only come from very old vines.
Deep red. Ripe plum, mulberry, sweet toasty oak and black pepper. Rich, supple and juicy, with sweet plummy fruit, deluxe oak, and pepper and earth intensity giving balance and freshness. Still youthful with a bright acid line and powdery tannins.
