A traditional method, 'ripasso' (repassed) involves using the current vintage grape pressings and adding them to an older vintage which adds texture and complexity.
Medium density red. Cedar, mulberry, plum and white pepper aromas. Firm palate with a precise mix of black and purple fruit, in an earthy, dry and savoury style, with tight tannins and plenty of charry oak in support.
