This variety originates from the hills of Northwest Italy, so it is no surprise that it has found a home in the Adelaide Hills. An intense wine with great acid balance.
Dense crimson. Inky super-ripe aromas of red cherry, braised meats and potpourri. Lovely concentration of deliciously jubey black fruit, with hints of dried herbs and pomegranate, deep yet soft tannins, and balanced toasty oak.
