Chalk Hill Fiano 2017

Fruit for the Chalk Hill Fiano 2017 was sourced exclusively from Oliver’s Vineyard in McLaren Vale. Grapes were harvested in the cool of the evening and gently pressed with minimal skin contact, then partly fermented in old barrels to give a textural element and add another layer of complexity.
 
In the glass: Bright pale yellow.
On the nose: Ripe citrussy fruit lift with hints of white pepper spice.
On the palate:Crisp and crunchy with lemon and green apple fruit and lime juice-like acidity. Savoury and textural with some salty, nutty complexity.
