An underrated variety with a long history in Australia, that really impresses with its flavour profile and fruit intensity. A style for those that enjoy a red with clout.
Deep red purple. Blackberry, mulberry, dark cherry, black tea and vanillin oak. Concentration and fruit power speaks of the variety, yet shows good brightness of black and red berries, hints of bergamot and earth, fine tannins and sweet oak spice.
