Dalfarras Sangiovese 2016

Dalfarras Wines is a creative union between Alister and Rosa Purbrick and their daughter Hayley. Fourth generation winemaker Alister crafts the Italian and Spanish inspired wines, while Rosa is the artist and the wine names pay homage to her maiden name, Dal Farra.
 
In the glass: Medium to dark red.
On the nose: Black fruit, mocha, Cherry Ripe.
On the palate: Generous with loads of fruit and oak in balance with white pepper, bay leaf and Christmas cake complexity, prominent tannins and a long, savoury finish.
