Viognier can be hard to get right. It can be too heavy and rich, or underripe and lean, however David Hook knows how to handle the variety well, and it shows here.
Pale and bright. Restrained aromas of white peach, lemon and dried apricot. A dry, savoury expression with elevated acidity and saline notes driving the elegant mix of grapefruit and marmalade, lovely purity throughout, and a very crisp finish.
