De Iuliis LDR Vineyard Shiraz Touriga 2015

LDR stands for Lovedale Road, the Hunter Valley setting from which fruit for this intriguing blend was sourced. The addition of Touriga lifts the aromas and adds lovely complexity.
 
In the glass: Medium to deep red.
On the nose: Bright and clean yet spicy red and black cherry aromas.
On the palate: Earthy entry with a firm backbone of tannins and acidity underpinning dark fruits with notes of violets, brown spice and violets. Vibrant, firm and long with fresh acidity providing moreish drive and persistence.
