Tasting Panellist Trent Mannell was particularly taken with this blend, saying, ”It’s salty and savoury and very much in the style of European wines - more about texture and refreshing acidity than sweet fruit.”
Exuding reserved, savoury aromas with lifted citrus notes, it has a palate that’s quite neutral and Semillon-like with a light core of lemon and tropicals. It’s quite savoury, making it a terrific food wine reminiscent of a Sancerre with a deliciously salty finish. Its texture is beautiful has it has a fantastic mouthfeel.
