Ferngrove Estate in Western Australia’s Frankland River region is one of the world’s most isolated wine estates. Worth tracking down for wines like this Chardonnay though!
Very fine green straw. Beautiful aromas of rich nectarine, pineapple, mineral, nougat and savoury oak. Lovely harmony of stonefruit, golden apple and fig, with excellent detail, glossy yet crisp mouthfeel, fresh acidity and balanced cedar oak. Classy.
