By esteemed winemaker Damon Eastough, this Gold Medal-winning Chardonnay was made with handpicked fruit from the Wilyabrup region of Margaret River with a focus on strong fruit expression.
Bright lemon in appearance with an equally bright lift of ripe stonefruit and citrus aromas with kitchen spice, bay leaf and savoury oak notes. The palate is layered and plush, yet presents classy, almost glossy layers of peachy-fruit, good oak support and zesty acidity. The finish is crisp with plenty of flavour and cashew-like persistence.
