Ben Marx's day job is making wine at Jim Barry. Gertie is his own label and it is the definition of small batch - the vineyard consisting of only five rows.
Medium red purple. Blackcurrant, cranberry, rose petal, oregano and graphite. Medium weight, bright and vibrant with fresh acidity driving the red and black fruit core, hints of pot pourri and bay leaf, sappy tannins and a savoury finish. Just a baby.
