A blend of 54% Lagrein and 46% Dolcetto, the Dolcetto aged in old barrels for three months to soften the tannins. A fantastic and flavoursome food wine.
Inky dark red to black. Concentrated blackberry and mulberry jam aromas. Sweet, ripe and intensely flavoured, with jubey, curranty fruit concentration and drive, slippery mouthfeel and sweet oak. Massive yet supple and flavoursome.
