Heirloom Vineyards make their Tempranillo from what they describe as their best Adelaide Hills vineyard, where the hand tended old vines create a wine of beauty.
In the winery: Naturally open fermented, basket-pressed and stored in well seasoned French oak barriques for nine months before bottling.
In the glass: Vibrant deep red.
On the nose: Violet perfume over black cherry, raspberry and vanillin oak.
On the palate: Powerful but shows elegance and balance with a bold core of red and black fruits, subtle vanillin spice notes, bright acidity, long and velvety tannins, and a long finish.
