This Merlot from Irvine, who are masters of the variety, was named after their Spring Hill vineyard located in Eden Valley, and is classically supple and textural.
Youthful dark red. Dark cherry and plum with hints of bay leaf, violet and five spice. Medium-weight with spicy red and dark berry fruit and herbal undertones, clean acidity, drying tannins and good flavour persistence. Very varietal and flavoursome.
