Jackson's Hill Reserve Semillon 2014

The Hunter is renowned for its racy Semillon and this wine showcases that, but thanks to the use of a small amount of old oak, it also has a little more weight and texture.
 
 
In the glass: Pale lemon, green flashes.
On the nose: Lemon and lemongrass with talc, Sunlight soap and hints of passionfruit.
On the palate: Classic lemon and lemongrass flavours underpinned with a savoury and mouth-coating lees-derived richness buoyed by a superfine and persistent acid line.
