Vermentino is widely planted in Italy’s Sardinia and Corsica, but is well suited to the Barossa, especially in the expert hands of the Yalumba team.
In the glass: Medium lemon.
On the nose: Peach, grapefruit, lemon zest and dried herb.
On the palate: A decadent Vermentino with a supple core of stonefurit and citrus with dried herb sea salt notes, fine phenolics and racy acidity. Rich, full and flavoursome.
