Frankland River is well-known for its Shiraz, but it makes some superb Cabernet wines given the suitability of its climate, as this intense and delicious example shows.
Deep garnet. Expressive nose of dark berries and fruits, exotic spices, bramble and cedar. Full-bodied and intense, with ripe blackberry and mulberry, hints of wild thyme and bay leaf, ripe tannins, and graphite and wood smoke on the long finish.
