Macaw Creek, an organic producer from the Mt Lofty Ranges near the Clare Valley, have produced an excellent example of the classic Aussie red blend.
Dark red with a faint brick hue. Powerful curranty fruit and cedary oak. Savoury, earthy fruit richness with a good mix of plum, blackcurrant, cedar, leather and cola, still-fresh acidity, satiny tannins and a fleshy finish with a deluxe feel.
