Not a great deal of Cabernet or Merlot is grown in the Hunter, but when they get it right it's a great drink, and this one is beautifully generous and very approachable.
Mid crimson garnet colour. Intense jammy blackberry with tea leaf, tobacco, rose petal and cedar. Deep, rich and full dark berry entry with loads of plum and blackberry, well-integrated vanillin oak, and fine-grained tannins.
