Cabernet in McLaren Vale unfairly lives in the shadow of Shiraz and Grenache, however wines like this seriously challenge the status quo. Impressive!
Inky dense purple. Full black cherry cola saturation with white pepper, eucalypt and sandalwood. Immense glossy black fruits, with a velvet core of cassis with inky yet gentle concentration, over superb tannin and barrel and a very long finish.
