“Savitar” is a mythical dragon-like monster, and this wine is named so because of the impression Frank Mitolo and winemaker Ben Glaetzer had upon first tasting the fruit.
Opaque crimson. Blackcurrant, prune and developing notes of nori and iodine, and toasty oak. An inky powerhouse of black and purple fruit in balance with immense, tongue-coating tannins, masses of charry oak and a very long finish.
