Montepulciano comes in all shapes and sizes, but this is one of the best fuller-bodied styles we have seen. Deep and brooding and perfect for any lover of rich reds.
Deep, dark red purple. Liquorice, tobacco, braised meats, blackberry and dark cherry aromas. Quite full-bodied and plush, with plenty of black and purple fruit, fine and savoury tannins, and notes of anise, black tea and tobacco on the generous finish.
