Obiter Dictum is a quirky side project for Briar Ridge. Their Merlot is crafted with fruit from the Hunter Valley and Orange to create a deeply-flavoured wine.
Deep garnet colour. Opulent signatures of blackcurrant, tomato leaf, kitchen spice and leather. Appealing blackberry and blackcurrant flavours, with concentrated core depth, very long tannins, and notes of iodine and graphite persisting.
